You can get a set of 8.25 trucks and you’ll be fine on a 8.5 deck. Hell, you’ll be fine with 8.0 trucks and a 8.5 deck. People make a fuss over truck sizes, but it’s not a big deal, just don’t worry about it. I feel the same way about deck sizes.
