Is it normal for your skateboard to get scratched?
It’s expected that your board will get scratched a lot. Unless you’re getting big chips and cracks then it really doesn’t matter. I took my brand new deck to the skatepark the day I got it and skated for about 4 hours and the tail is already super scratched up just from doing ollies and popping it.
Is it bad to have scratches on your skateboard?
Don’t Buy A Graphic You Don’t Want To Scratch Up!
That’s ok, they are like pieces of art! But if you really want that graphic staying scratch free, then keep it on your mantlepiece. Your board is going to get destroyed or you’re not doing it right.
Do skateboards get scratches?
Inspect their board for wear and quality.
Posers often have no (or obviously fake) scratch marks on their boards, while a real skater will have scratch marks on the middle, nose, and tail of the board, depending on their style and tricks.
Is it okay to sit on your skateboard?
Well, there’s the most important and obvious: don’t stand or sit around any skatable obstacle. Always look around you when you start rolling so that you’re not going to cross anyone’s line. It may be hard at first but you’ll get to know where people mostly roll.
